Natalie Mort

In 2002, as Natalie studied theatrical make up, she was taught anatomy by a lady named Jill Roberton. It transpired that Jill was also a Reiki Master and Complimentary Therapist. Having no experience of Reiki, Natalie tried it for herself only to feel huge benefits within ten minutes of the treatment.

Natalie’s initial response was to undergo a treatment every few months, until eventually she considered learning Reiki for herself. This thought led to her completing her Reiki 1 in 2008. It was at that point, Natalie knew what she should be doing with her life; helping other people to feel ‘Beautiful Within,' which she say’s, describes perfectly how she felt after each Reiki treatment with Jill.

Natalie has spent the past few years increasing her knowledge in the field of Complimentary and Holistic Therapies, studying Reiki 2, Infinite Balance, Indian Head Massage, Aura Soma and Ear Candling. Whilst also going on to study Holistic Clinical Aromatherapy, Essential Oil Therapeutics, Therapeutic Massage and Anatomy and Physiology at The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy, under the inspirational tutor Gabriel Mojay - Founding Co-Chair of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA) and author of ‘Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit’.

Natalie is keen to learn more about the ways we can heal our mind, body and spirit through positive touch, such as massage and Reiki, and other natural means, including herbs and essential oils. Although she has a great respect for allopathic medicine, Natalie can clearly see the benefits of utilizing what nature has given us.

Her next goal is to become a Reiki Master. This is a year long process, after which she will be able to teach and attune others in Reiki.

Natalie currently works for an aromatherapy company where she is involved with product training, marketing and product development, leaving the weekends and evenings to run the ‘Beautiful Within’ clinic.
